Dehydrators
Natural gas wells use glycol dehydrators to remove water from the gas. The dehydrator releases aromatic organic chemicals into the atmosphere. If the natural gas undergoing dehydration contains benzene, toluene, or other volatile organic compounds, significant quantities of these compounds are released when the glycol solution undergoes regeneration. If dehydrators are forcing you or a loved one to breathe and inhale volatile organic compounds on a daily basis, this can substantially contribute to adverse health effects.
